The inspiration to create Synchro SRL came from a deep passion for technology and a desire to address the growing need for reliable and efficient industrial electronics solutions. What are some of your most important collaborations on EU Projects?
At Synchro SRL, we have had the privilege of contributing to several impactful EU-funded projects, which have allowed us to collaborate with leading organizations to drive innovation, sustainability, and technological advancements in the industrial sector. Some of our most important collaborations include:
- GreenSME Hub (greensmehub.eu): In this project, we worked with small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across Europe to help them adopt environmentally sustainable practices and integrate energy-efficient technologies. Our role focused on developing solutions that enabled SMEs to reduce their environmental impact while improving operational efficiency and competitiveness.
- SURE Project (sureproject.eu): Through this project, we contributed to the development of sustainable urban energy solutions. Our involvement focused on providing advanced industrial electronics and systems that support energy-efficient solutions in urban environments, aligning with the EU's sustainability goals.
- AEROS Project (aeros-project.eu): The main goal of the project is to migrate the existing monitoring solution to aerOS. This migration will leverage aerOS’s advanced features to enhance the system’s performance, reliability, and scalability. aerOS will improve resource management, orchestration, and resilience across Synchro SRL’s services. Additionally, aerOS's support for decentralized, scalable applications fits Synchro’s vision for the future.
The migration will also address system challenges, such as issues with GeoDNS causing latency and connectivity problems for Wi-Fi sensors using UDP. By redesigning the system with aerOS's advanced capabilities, Synchro SRL aims to create a more robust and efficient solution that meets GXP standards. - AIRISE Project (airise.eu): Our contribution to this project proposed the AI-PCBA-SYNCHRO project under the AIRISE program to implement an AI-based visual inspection system for printed circuit board assembly (PCBA). The project aims to automate defect detection, reduce human errors, and increase production efficiency.

- Cost/Revenue Balance: Initial investments in AI infrastructure will be offset by reduced labor costs, inspection time, and defect rework.

Through continuous innovation, we’ve integrated advanced technologies like IoT sensors, edge computing, and real-time cloud monitoring, ensuring the highest level of compliance with GxP standards.
