Business matchmaking events also known as Brokerage Events are events that bring businesses together, giving them the opportunity to find new partners and start working on new projects together.

In most cases, these events take place alongside international trade fairs and conferences. The participants are able to share partnership offers and requests and in most cases, they are given the option of scheduling meetings in advance.

Here are three Brokerage events for Autumn 2019, that every organization needs to participate in.

1. European Research & Innovation Days

Date: 24,25 and 26 September 2019
Venue: Kanal, Centre Pompidou
Location: Brussels, Belgium

During this 3-day event participants will have the opportunity to attend the Policy Conference which will take place during the entire event, and the Innovative Europe Hub meeting as well as the “Science is Wonderful” exhibition, both of which will take place on the 25th and the 26th of September.

2. International Brokerage Event: Horizon 2020 for Circular Economy & Transforming Industry

Date: 9 October 2019
Venue: Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer Management of Warsaw University of Technology
Location: Warsaw, Poland

The #CETI_H2020 Brokerage Event

The brokerage event is co-organised by the EU-funded projects NCPs CaRE and NMP TeAm with support from BIO HORIZON, C-ENERGY, Net4Society, and Enterprise Europe Network – Sector Group Environment.

3. Societal Challenges 6 Brokerage Event 2019

Date: 12-13 November
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

This international information-day event will highlight research topics covered within the final 2020 calls for proposals in Societal Challenge 6 Europe in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective Societies of Horizon 2020. Participants will have the possibility to join in a matchmaking event dedicated to the topics of the 2020 Societal Challenge 6 calls for proposals. The matchmaking event will give participants the opportunity to join pre-arranged meetings with other participants in order to identify possible collaborators and to facilitate the setup of Horizon 2020 project consortia.
