Give us a few information about your organization.

The Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM) – has five faculties, 21 different degree courses of the first level (three years) and 19 master's degree courses (second level), 3 cycle university degrees only one with a limited entry (1 in engineering – 5 years, 1 in medicine and surgery – 6 years and 1 in orthodontics and prosthetics – 6 years), 11 professional courses οf study, 29 specialization fields, 10 doctorates with administrative headquarters in Ancona. UNIVPM has 12 different departments. The inscription initial number of 290 students for the academic year 1969-70 progressively increased to 26,000 in 2019-2020.

What inspired you to create your organization?

I am an “employee” in UNIVPM.

What is your field of expertise?

I am a post-doc researcher in Supply Chain Resilience and European Projects collaborator in the Industrial Systems Engineering research group.

What is your organization’s impact on society?

The University has a leading role in the territory, as the main aggregator and driver of culture and innovation for socio-economic development. Moreover, it has made an important effort to monitor and enhance the social impact of the many and varied initiatives put in place in the last years.

What are some of your most important collaborations on EU Projects?

UNIVPM has a long-time experience in the Horizon2020 program and the Erasmus+ program.

What is something your organization achieved that you are proud of?

When project funding is granted, and we physically give the job to people that will work and collaborate in the project.

What kinds of projects do you want to work on?

Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020.

What is it that you are looking for, from an EU partner?

Reliability. Reliability is a key signal that a partner can give you exactly what you expect from him and nothing less. In EU project planning, there is no room for surprises.

How did you get to know the EUcalls platform?

Thanks to Anastasios Vasiliadis, president and CEO of IED. We met in Algeria during a project meeting in which both of our organizations were partners.

Why did you choose the EUcalls platform to assist you with your work?

Because we think that EUcalls is an optimal platform to look for reliable partners.

Not for now.
