The European Research Council (ERC) mission is to “encourage the highest quality research in Europe through competitive funding and to support investigator-driver frontier research across all fields on the basis of scientific excellence”.
As such, all scientists in Europe are eligible to receive ERC grants through an open competition to promote scientific excellence in the region. ERC grants aim to fund the best research ideas there are and to attract talents from abroad.
ERC awards seek to recognize the contribution of scientists through their ERC-funded projects to promoting excellence in science. For this reason, ERC grants awards to the scientists who have managed to “involve,” “inspire,” and “influence” people outside of their domain or the scientific world.
If you are a researcher who has received ERC grants for your research projects, you should have a look at the following awards.
ERC awards you can find on EUcalls Platform
