The six topics on transportation that can be found under the 2018-2020 Horizon 2020 Work Programme became available for proposal submission on September 3rd, 2019. They have a budget of 92 million euros.
The aim of the proposals must focus on ensuring safer, cleaner and more resilient transportation within the European area. The projects under these calls will be selected for funding in a two-stage evaluation process.
The first deadline is January 9th, 2020. For this deadline, the candidates will need to submit a short version of their project proposal. Within three months after the deadline, the candidates will be informed on whether their proposal qualifies for the second stage of the selection process.
The deadline for the second stage of the evaluation process will be on September 8th, 2020. By April 2021 the final decision about which projects will be receiving EU funding will be announced.
